CogniAction is a game platform, whose purpose is to challenge the brain of children with Down Syndrome, through tasks that seek to improve cognitive functionality and visomotor performance.

The platform has four games:

Lets smile - Aims to make an initial assessment of the childs visomotor function and readiness for the most complex games, aims to test its accuracy and reaction time for the visual stimulus presented.

Lets Pop - Evaluates the childs motor and mental response levels, through the reaction to the presented stimuli. It can also evaluate measures of movement time, precision of visomotor response, reaction time and detects impulsivity and low behavioral self-regulation.

See the Little Train - Evaluates sustained attention, discrimination, speed of response and working memory of the child

Wheres the Little Monster - Tests the learning of pairs associated between an abstract visual pattern and its location. It assesses visual memory and learning, and involves long-term visual-spatial memory mechanisms. Children must be instructed to memorize in which positions the monsters appear in the upper windows, to touch the respective monster when it appears at the door.

In all games it is possible to choose between Easy, Medium and Difficult levels, through a calibration interface.

This platform is part of the CogniActionLab project and is being developed with the support of the Apple Developer Academy project of the Catholic University of Brasilia.
